Local community managers & assistants

Besides the paid staff members Partner for Surgery works with a network of “local community managers” (gerentes): local leaders who help us with all our activities on a volunteer basis. Currently, we have 12 local community managers, of whom 8 are women. Each gerente has one or more helpers or ayudantes: local youth who help reconfirming patients and accompanying them to the hospital.
